"Spot" Resolution

Representative Abraham Lincoln (Illinois Whig) has requested a fact-finding mission to better understand exactly how and where the Mexican War began.

Accept Mission

To the House of Representatives Staff

Representative Abraham Lincoln has asked on the House floor for a fact finding mission about the beginning of the war with Mexico. As he will explain, he is unsure of whether or not the US military, at the behest of President James K. Polk, provoked the war with Mexico. As you are staffers working in the House of Representatives, you are being tasked with creating a presentation for Mr. Lincoln. To complete this, you will be working in a group of no more than four. Yes, there are multiple groups working on the same assignment so make sure to stay on task and create a great presentation (more on that later).
